Vanuatu Citizenship
Vanuatu is one of the most popular countries in the Pacific Ocean in the 21st century, remaining detached from international political circles and attracting investors due to its relaxed lifestyle and warm climate. In recent years, Vanuatu has become a favorite among investors thanks to its unique citizenship program. Let's mention its two biggest advantages upfront:
It's a program that finishes within 1-2 months.
2. It provides visa-free access to over 130 countries.
WHAT IS THE VANUATU CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM?
The Vanuatu Citizenship Programme is a program launched in 2017 to attract foreign investors to the country. It offers the opportunity to obtain Vanuatu citizenship by making financial contributions to the Development Support Programme.
WHY CHOOSE VANUATU CITIZENSHIP?
Vanuatu is home to a rich culture, panoramic landscapes, and a joyful way of life. As seen in the World Happiness Rate and Ranking Survey, Vanuatu is the happiest country in the world.
Vanuatu, one of the countries with the lowest crime rates, nevertheless confuses with its coastal and tropical lifestyle. Despite its very low crime rate, tropical life is synonymous with prosperity and peace.
Vanuatu, a Commonwealth member, offers visa-free travel and residency opportunities to over 130 countries, including the UK and Australia.
Vanuatu authorities, who want to develop the country with money and manpower transferred from abroad, have stipulated certain conditions through specific decisions taken in their National Assembly and administration. These are:
1- You must be at least 18 years old
2. Having a clean criminal record
3- Not having a poor or debilitating health condition
4- Being able to make the necessary financial contribution (GRANT)
Any individual who meets these conditions without exception is accepted for citizenship, regardless of their nationality or country of citizenship. However, not omitting any procedural details and being present within the specified time frame, either through a representative or in person (except in writing), is the most important, perhaps the only, condition for successfully completing the Vanuatu citizenship program.
After a process lasting approximately two months, managed either through an effective representative or using your own expertise, you can acquire citizenship by paying a donation. Following the payment of the donation, you can attend the swearing-in ceremony at your discretion. Upon successful completion of your citizenship application, you will receive a Vanuatu Passport, internationally valid and granting visa access to over 130 countries, which you will possess as your personal property.
As explained above, the most important factor in this is paying GRANTS.
1- A single applicant may only contribute $130,000.00 to the Development Support Programme for their own benefit.
2- For family applications, a family of four can succeed in the program with a non-refundable contribution of $180,000.00 to DSP.
ROADMAP TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING THE PROGRAM AND BECOMING A CITIZEN OF VANUATU:
Step 1 - Appoint an authorized representative to act on your behalf
This process is both simple and complex. Implementing the grant involves procedurally rigorous steps, which are time-bound for the benefit of public order.
Obtaining documents and other official records correctly and in the form specified in the relevant regulations of the Republic of Turkey is not easily possible in more than 90% of our country's institutions.
Sometimes, administrative applications are required to obtain these documents, while at other times, repeated attempts are necessary to ensure the document's content is properly formatted.
In these circumstances, applying and trying to obtain a result through an authorized representative can open the door to a difficult process, both before and after the grant payment date.
Step 2 - Obtain the Necessary Documents
1- A properly prepared copy of your passport
2-Medical and Vanuatu legislation certificates
3. A document proving or establishing that the funds to be contributed were legitimately earned.
4- A report including resources and professional activities
5. A letter (of goodwill) explaining why you wish to reside in Vanuatu and outlining your plans.
6- Health report (Many formats do not comply with the regulations of the Turkish Ministry of Health. This can cause problems, and there are certain conditions such as duration and travel requirements for the relevant health report to be valid.)
7. A document showing that you have a sufficient deposit account and amount of money to manage your life in Vanuatu.
8-Criminal Record,
9. Obligation to physically attend a limited number of meetings.
The good news is that Vanuatu is providing facilities to meet these requirements.
Vanuatu, with a population of 280,000, is not hesitant to welcome new citizens. Moreover, it offers significant advantages: all procedures are completed within 60 days. Furthermore, you are not required to be physically present in Vanuatu. Applicants are not obligated to travel to or reside in Vanuatu during the citizenship application process or after becoming a citizen . Vanuatu, a tax haven, has many tax exemptions, including income tax. Despite providing a comfortable life, Vanuatu sells citizenship for a minimum grant of $130,000. The citizenship program allows for the inclusion of all family members.
Vanuatu, which offers visa-free travel to over 130 countries including the UK, all European countries, and Hong Kong, is a favorite destination worldwide due to its visa exemption policy.
Anyone under the age of 25 can be included in the application as an "adult child" along with their family.
In this program, which has no language requirements, it seems sufficient that communication is established properly.
3-Submission of Documents
These documents should be placed in envelopes and submitted to the FIU (Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit) using the proper procedure.
MIB will respond to applications within 60 days (this may vary depending on the volume of applications received by MIB)
Once approval is received, transfer the State Grant. Approval is usually received within 45-60 business days. Complete the Oath Ceremony.
Applications submitted without proper procedure will be rejected. Re-applications are open. However, if the subject matter is deemed impossible, the re-application process will be closed.
To avoid the issue of impossibility being raised, it is crucial that letters and documents are prepared meticulously and delivered on time. Thousands of applications are rejected due to incomplete submissions.
