EXPLANATIONS:

1. In the last hearing of the aforementioned case file before your court, our request to challenge the signature in the promissory note enforcement proceedings was rejected. We believe that this decision was made as a result of an incomplete examination and is therefore contrary to procedure and law. For this reason, it has become necessary to submit this petition in order to protect the rights of our client.
2. As per procedure, the appeal period begins from the date of pronouncement of the judgment, therefore we are obliged to submit this petition to your court to extend the appeal period. We will submit our reasoned appeal petition within the legal period following the notification of the reasoned judgment to us.
3. Furthermore, in order to allow for a detailed examination of the court's decision and to fully defend our client's rights, the acceptance of our petition for extension of time is of utmost importance.
