PET CARE AND ADOPTION AGREEMENT

PARTIES
between ………………………………. (hereinafter referred to as "OWNER") and
………………………………. (hereinafter referred to as "OWNER"), under the following terms and conditions.

SUBJECT
MATTER ARTICLE 1 – The subject matter of this agreement is the regulation of the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the care and/or adoption of a pet (cat, dog, bird, etc.) of the breed …………, aged ……… and named ………….

ARTICLE 2 – OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES 2.1. The person giving the animal away shall deliver a veterinary report regarding the animal's health to the person adopting it. 2.2. The person adopting the animal is responsible for its care, feeding, shelter, and health checks. 2.3. The parties agree that the animal cannot be sold and is only being given away for the purpose of care and affection. 2.4. The person adopting the animal agrees to reclaim it if it is subjected to abuse, abandonment, or mistreatment.

HEALTH AND EXPENSES
ARTICLE 3 –
3.1. The adopter is responsible for routine veterinary expenses, vaccinations, and feeding costs.
3.2. In case of unexpected illness, the expenses are the responsibility of the adopter.

TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT
ARTICLE 4 – If either party fails to fulfill its obligations, the agreement shall be terminated and the animal shall be returned to the Owner.

AUTHORIZED COURT
ARTICLE 5 – In case of disputes arising from this contract, the …………… Courts shall have jurisdiction.
