Working with foreign clients
Many matters can be handled without the client travelling to Türkiye. A power of attorney can be issued at a Turkish consulate abroad, or before a local notary with an apostille (consular legalisation for countries outside the Apostille Convention) and a sworn Turkish translation. Foreign court judgments and civil status documents such as marriage or death certificates generally follow the same route.
