What is the legal profession?

According to the Turkish Language Association's definition:
1. A person who makes a profession of guiding those who seek assistance in matters of rights and law, defending and protecting the rights of others in courts and government offices, and who meets the legal requirements for this.
2. Figuratively, a person who defends or speaks on behalf of another person even when it is not necessary.
According to the definition in the Lawyers' Act,
the nature of the legal profession is:
Article 1 – The legal profession is a public service and a free profession.
A lawyer freely represents the independent defense, which is one of the founding elements of the judiciary.
